International English language testing system (IELTS) course
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) course
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) preparation course is comprised of five modules totaling either 30 or 40 hours, depending on the level of study undertaken, and designed to prepare students for the IELTS exam.
All components of the course are directly related to the IELTS exam and cover the reading, writing, speaking and listening skills necessary to master the range of topics that commonly occur in the IELTS exam.
Our professionally qualified, native English-speaking teaching staff have many years experience at preparing non-English-speaking students for the IELTS exam. Their intimate knowledge of the topics covered enable them to provide you with numerous insider “tips” for successfully completing the IELTS exam and even allow you to practice with authentic IELTS-type exam papers throughout the IELTS preparation course.
Established in 1989, IELTS is the international standardized test of English language proficiency. It is jointly managed by the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, the British Council and IDP Education Australia, and is accepted by most Australian, British, Canadian, Irish, New Zealand, and South African academic institutions, over 2,000 academic institutions in the United States, and various professional organizations.
Achieving a satisfactory level in the IELTS exam is also a requirement for immigration to Australia and Canada, as well as a pre-requisite for entrance into many international higher education courses.
