It was extremely interesting to see the Bangkok Post report and excellent photographs of Ekachai School in Samut Sakhon province, which has just opened an Asean Study Centre, and the students who are actively learning about the other countries joining the economic community by the end of 2015. This development strikes us as being a very positive and useful educational approach, and the School is to be congratulated on its initiative.

At the opening ceremony for the centre, this girl, dressed in national costume of Vietnam, gave information about the country to visitors.

Myanmar is of special interest to students at the school because there are many Myanmar migrant workers in the province. Here, young students erect roads signs written in the Burmese language.
